Wedding Photographers Northern Ireland search results

Been a while since I had a blog entry due simply to an increased work load. Its the usual story that something needs to suffer and unfortunately is was the good 'ol blog.

Over the Christmas period when photography naturally declines a bit I hope to get caught up with all the entries.

The reason I am making an entry now however is due to a pleasant surprise I had over the last couple of days.

I noticed an increase in the numbers of visitors to my web site. When I do a bit of digging around to see why it became very clear!!

Over the various year one constant behind the scenes work was to increase my on-line presence. This takes the form of many areas, but not being trained in this it was all trial and error and training.

However when I did a search for wedding photographers Northern Ireland last night I found my Google+ page was listed on page one of the search results under the Google maps area. To say I was totally astonished was an understatement.

So basically I just want to give…

First competitions - and first awards

Have just taken a few minutes to take stock. Some of my fiends will know that I have had a persistent shoulder injury for almost a year and a half now, and have been attending physio since February. Had been driving home today from it and just thinking where the time had gone, when the phone give a bleep which indicates some online activity.  Now normally it is someone commenting or liking a photograph which I love, but this time it was to inform me that my image had won image of the day.

Fortunately I do not think I'm that far yet but keeping an eye out for that change!! lol Perhaps that is why after almost 5 years of wedding and portrait photography I have not entered any competitions.
That changed this week. Decided that all the behind the scenes work that goes on never mind the immense work load for online posting that this just is not going …

Mary & Eamon wedding. Photos at Inch Abbey, reception in the Ivanhoe Hotel

Well what an eventful day it turned out to be. After contacting me last year about photographing Mary's wedding it crept up on us so soon.

We were a bit anxious about the weather for the previous day had rain through out the day, but when I got up the clouds were beginning to clear and it became a great day of sunshine and beauty.

Well it was nearly the wedding that never was!! lol It is still customary to have the bride a little bit late, but Mary clocked into the chapel of St Nicholas in Ardglass at 2.08 pm for the 1.00 pm wedding !! lol The delay was not Mary's fault but needless to say not only were the guests happy to see her but I think Eamon was beginning to wonder if perhaps some cruel trick was being played out on him lol

When Mary arrived however, her beauty soon dispersed any fears as she walked up to aisle to met Eamon.

The photographs after the ceremony were taken in Inch Abbey in Downpatrick, with the reception later on in the Ivanhoe hotel in Carryduff.
