Search Results for Wedding Photography Northern Ireland

Just a small update of something I have been working on for about 6 months now.

As from today I have carried out searches on three major search engines - Yahoo, Bing and Google.

To my surprise  when you search for wedding photography Northern Ireland I am on page 1 of both Yahoo and Bing, and on page 2 on Google.

Google is the most used and the hardest to get the results high in it ranking. Research carried out on behaviour suggests that most people search through the first 2 to 3 pages with page one having the greatest hits and the top of page 2 also.

As you can understand a lot of weight and success for any online presence rests on your ranking. Six months ago I was on page 22 of Google, which meant that my online presence was not even seen by anyone. Four weeks ago I was up to page 5 which again in real terms would still be unseen.

It is becoming a win win for all. The more the web site is seen the greater the presence and specially for any model work, the greater the coverage for any agency looking for models.

For clients on weddings this is a great way to show the beauty elegance of fun of your wedding day. What a flattering thought to know your day has inspired others in designing and arranging their wedding.

At the minute I still have a lot of work to do and will be focusing more on Google+ rather than Facebook as Facebook has gone down a very unfair path that is making businesses unseen unless they pay for boosting its posts. Even when they are paid for the resulting followers are mostly from other countries that can never be related in any way to us as a local business.

I would give a warm invite to follow me on Google+ as I will be focusing more on it. The experience and feel are more relaxed and inviting than facebook with in increasing following and a far greater control over who and how your posts, likes and shares are distributed. Create groups easily and post to these only, or exclude others.

Thank you all for your constant support, use and following of my work. I promise always that I will remain genuine, considerate affordable and eager to give you images you will love and that will remain timeless, as well as giving me images I can take pride in and see a history of clients that many have remained friends.

Thank you
Mark

Monica's Model Photography Session at Brownlow House

Welcome to another post. A while back, Monica contacted me looking to know if I could shot a Gothic Style themed session with her. Of course it didn't take long to think about the answer! It was a resounding yes.
Not only would Monica's choice of clothes be critical, but the location and the post production editing. Last August I photographed a wedding at Brownlow House in Lurgan, Northern Ireland and the place really stuck in my head for an excellent location for the right shoot. With Monica focused on a Gothic style model  shoot, it was just crying out to be used for it. So we meet up and within about 10 minutes the rain started!! There was so much we wanted to try and do, but the rain pushed us for time and thought, and before we knew it we were inside and  seeking a few indoor shoots.
Brownlow House did not disappoint though and with a bit of post production touch up we were able to capture that atmospheric feel to some of the image. So below is a selection of the images …

Wolfwear Athletics Sports wear

I thought I had placed photographs taken for Wolfwear Athletics in the blog before now, but on checking it has dawned on me that I have not.

Wolfwear Athletics has been a project under taken this year which has been so rewarding for me personally. It all started out one day in the gym when I over heard a conversation with Teresa who I have photographed with a lad. He had or was in the process of designing his own sports range and was looking to get a photographer.
I approached Ryan, introduced myself and offered to help him if he wanted by shooting his range for him.
