Model shoot in Belfast with Karl

Over the past three years I have had a shoulder injury that has brought me to the point of not being able to train at all. I have been to several physiotherapists which have all added their own take on it and has helped greatly. Back in the gym one day a manager of it seen me training for shoulder injury and asked me if I had an injury and offered to look at it. He happened to be a physiotherapists also and over the past months I have been getting treatment from him that has brought me back to full training again.

It is through him that I met Karl Moore. They had asked if I would be willing to sponsor him in a free photo shoot which I was more than happy to do.

Karl is one of, if not the top mixed martial arts fighters in Northern Ireland, so I was not sure what I was getting myself into for the shoot lol

Meeting Karl on the day showed me how perceptions can be so wrong. I have never met a more genuine and sincere guy. To say I was impressed with him is a bit understated. Needless to say Karl had never done a shot before so he was unbelievably nervous but we took a while to chat and as the session went on we both relaxed and got some amazing shots of him.

So below are some of those photos.

Monica's Model Photography Session at Brownlow House

Welcome to another post. A while back, Monica contacted me looking to know if I could shot a Gothic Style themed session with her. Of course it didn't take long to think about the answer! It was a resounding yes.
Not only would Monica's choice of clothes be critical, but the location and the post production editing. Last August I photographed a wedding at Brownlow House in Lurgan, Northern Ireland and the place really stuck in my head for an excellent location for the right shoot. With Monica focused on a Gothic style model  shoot, it was just crying out to be used for it. So we meet up and within about 10 minutes the rain started!! There was so much we wanted to try and do, but the rain pushed us for time and thought, and before we knew it we were inside and  seeking a few indoor shoots.
Brownlow House did not disappoint though and with a bit of post production touch up we were able to capture that atmospheric feel to some of the image. So below is a selection of the images …

Wolfwear 2019 new Range of Ladies wear

It was a joy again to be asked to photograph Wolfwear's new range of sports wear.

After doing the first shoot for Ryan, and training in the same gym, it has been nice to now have Ryan as a friend.
